Shahi Paneer Recipe
Ingredients:
- 250 grams paneer, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 2 tablespoons ghee or oil
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 2 cardamom pods
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon ginger paste
- 1 teaspoon garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon coriander seeds
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup tomato puree
- Salt, to taste

Instructions:
- Heat the ghee or oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the bay leaf, cinnamon stick, and cardamom pods and sauté for a few seconds.
- Add the onion and sauté until it becomes translucent.
- Add the ginger paste, garlic paste, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, red chili powder, and garam masala and sauté for a minute.
- Add the tomato puree and salt and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add the paneer cubes and heavy cream and stir gently to combine. Simmer for 5-7 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened and the paneer is heated through.
- Serve the shahi paneer hot with basmati rice or roti. Enjoy
