Kadai Paneer Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 200g paneer, cubed
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1 medium tomato, finely chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 1 inch ginger, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 green chili, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp coriander seeds
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Chopped cilantro, for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the cumin seeds and coriander seeds and let them sizzle for a few seconds.
  3. Add the onions, ginger, and garlic and sauté until the onions are translucent.
  4. Add the tomatoes, bell pepper, and green chili and cook until the vegetables are soft.
  5. Add the red chili powder, garam masala, and turmeric and mix well.
  6. Add the paneer and salt and stir to coat the paneer with the spice mixture.
  7. Reduce the heat to low and cook for a few more minutes until the paneer is heated through.
  8. Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve hot with rice or roti.
